We understand innovation as a creative process with a specific goal focused on improving existing processes or creating solutions from a different perspective. It is common to design and structure projects in a paradigmatic way, thus respecting prevailing standards and approaches.

From our perspective, innovation should be contained within a framework of efficiency since it is not a benefit in itself unless it utilizes resources properly and provides a better response to the problem we are trying to solve.

Innovation lies in the uniqueness of each challenge. For this reason, the difficulty lies in individualizing the problem, understanding it from a different perspective, and, of course, applying knowledge and experience to come up with a unique value proposition with its own specificity.

We have a holistic vision regarding infrastructure, where we strive to leverage our experience to generate it in a scalable, resilient, and easily monitorable manner.

Infrastructure should be treated as one of the most valuable assets of any organization. To achieve this, we version it and define it as code so that extending or reconstructing it can allow for the design of complex, adaptable, and highly reproducible environments.

We utilize concepts such as GitOps, which enable versioning all modifications, facilitating automatic implementation of these changes or rollbacks without the need for downtime.

Formulating the right question is more important than giving the correct answer to a wrong question. In times where humanity produces more data in brief periods than in all of its previous history, it is the work of statistics to separate the signal from the noise.

There are many approaches and tools that prioritize the solution over the problem. That is why we individualize each problem with a unique approach through a team of data scientists, but we address it holistically and interdisciplinary. Because in the end, when you only have a hammer, all problems will seem like nails and will be approached with hammer blows.

SCALING TO INFINITY AND BEYOND

Not long ago, publishing an application on the internet required having a server. The increasing complexity and the requirements of applications as they evolve inevitably demand better hardware resources.

When the requirements allowed it in terms of cost, these hardware resources were added to the application server, which is known as vertical scaling. However, this possibility is not infinite.

From the need to have the necessary hardware to develop applications that support millions of users, such as blockchain, Uber, Netflix, Amazon, or even online video games, distributed architectures come into play. Besides being fault-tolerant, due to their conception where multiple nodes replace a server, they drastically reduce costs.

Although distributed systems provide countless benefits that would be impossible to achieve with a single server, they entail an increase in development complexity and fine-tuning.
